About Me...

I have always had a passion for food. From an early age, I loved family gatherings because of the diversity of food that would come through the door and be presented beautifully on our table. People would gather, converse, laugh, cry and sometimes laugh until they cried. Food was always at the center of every gathering, no matter what the circumstances.

Line Cook to Private Chef

After graduating from culinary school in 2001, I embarked on my career as a line cook in some notable restaurants in The Napa Valley. A few years into restaurant work and I shifted my focus to private catering.  I love helping create special memories with fantastic flavorful food.

My Own Urban Farm

Coming from a farming family, it was important to me to continue stewarding the land in whatever way possible. At my home in Napa, I have created a small urban farm. Here I can farm year round with chickens and honey bees, vegetables, fruit trees, cane fruit, herbs, and edible flowers. When available, I love to use my home grown organic produce to prepare delicious meals for my clients.

Credentialed Culinary Instructor

I obtained a California teachers credential and developed a high school professional culinary and hospitality program; which I taught for 8 years. After leaving this program, I began teaching private clients in their homes and also culinary enthusiast classes at a public cooking school in Napa.

Wellness Coaching

Because food is the center of our wellbeing, it was only natural to expand my own education into wellness coaching. As a recovering binge eater myself, I understand first hand the emotional side of food.

Clients seek me out when they are ready to shift their eating patterns and start working towards better health; starting with what's on their plate.

Yoga

Since starting my wellness coaching practice, I have become an avid Yogi. One of the things I work on with clients is finding better outlets for stress and emotional release.

So often, we are disconnected from our food choices, which is what leads us to self medicating with food. So I work with my clients to reconnect with their body.

Yoga provides the perfect practice for reconnecting our mind, body, spirit, and most importantly, our intuition. I encourage all my clients to consider this valuable form of movement which encourages flexibility, strength and intuition both on and off the mat!

Credentialed Culinary Instructor

I obtained a California Designated Subjects Teaching Credential. The Designated Subjects CTE Teaching Credential authorizes the holder to teach in the subject or subjects named on the credential in grades twelve and below and in classes

organized primarily for adults, including services to English learners in Specially Designed Academic Instruction Delivered in English (SDAIE) in career technical, trade or vocational courses.
